ABOUT THE NEWBORN FLAG
Have you ever thought about why do we put a black flag to buidings when soemone passes away, yet we do not welcome with a flag the baby arriving to the family?
We have! And we would like to see a change in this issue! In 2011, based on the idea of Pál Oberfrank, we started a nationwide initiation all over the country and we would like to see it turning into tradition in Hungary: councils, public offices, public and private homes pin a flag upfront the building when a baby is born. In order to make it more popular we invited entries for a graphical competition and recieved 198 designs.
ABOUT THE WANDERING CRADLE MOVEMENT
The aim of the Three Princes, Three Princesses’ cradles is communitiy building. In addition to rocking babies again and again, these cradles are the symbols of how having children is a common issue.
